Job Description:
Full job descriptionReed Finance is supporting a major Scottish public sector organisation in the appointment of a Director of Finance.
Reporting to the Chief Executive and serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the Finance and Procurement functions, overseeing a budget of approximately £500m and providing strategic financial leadership across a complex, high-profile organisation.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead financial strategy, planning, forecasting and budgeting.
*Oversee statutory accounts, audit and regulatory compliance.
*Ensure robust financial governance, controls and risk management.
*Provide strategic advice to senior leadership and key external stakeholders.
*Lead Finance and Procurement teams and support organisational transformation initiatives.
About You
You will be a proven senior finance leader with:
*Significant experience operating at Director, CFO or equivalent level.
*Strong technical accounting, governance and financial planning expertise.
*Experience managing large-scale budgets within a complex environment.
*Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
*A track record of leading teams and delivering organisational change.
Essential Requirements
*Fully CCAB qualified
