My client is looking for a dynamic, motivated individual that is looking to lead the management accounts function whilst also supporting the Financial Controller with strategic decision making for a growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant looking for a step up and take lead on the end to end management accounts process. Description
*Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
*Assist with the budgeting and forecasting cycles, working closely with department leads
*Monitor financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders
*Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and support decision-making
*Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies
*Support audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
*Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
*Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting quality
*Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business cases
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification or Finalist
*Experience producing full monthly management accounts.
*Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
*The confidence to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
*Open to mentoring or supporting junior finance professionals.
*Strong excel skills
*Motivated by continuous improvement
Job Offer
*Generous salary range £50,000 - £53,000
*Fully office-based initially, transitioning to 3 days onsite, 2 days at home after probation.
