Full job descriptionAre you looking for a temporary one-month role with the potential to extend? Do you have higher education administration experience and the confidence to hit the ground running in a busy team? Signature Recruitment is seeking a Programme Administrator to provide hands-on support to a busy university team ahead of the new academic year.
This temporary Programme Administrator position is with a well-regarded higher education institution in Central London. The role is initially for around one month, with potential to extend, and offers an immediate start. You will work 35 hours, Monday to Friday, on a hybrid basis, with two days in the office and three days working from home. The rate is £19.03 per hour plus holiday pay.
You will join the team at an important time, helping to prepare student information, processes and programme activity for the new academic year. The workload is varied, covering assessments, student administration, timetabling and helpdesk support. Alongside hybrid flexibility, this is a great opportunity to build further experience within a busy London higher education environment.
Programme Administrator- Key Responsibilities:*Update student-facing information, assessment guidance and online learning pages
*Support changes to assessment processes, keeping guidance accurate and up to date
*Assist with module selection, module changes, exam boards and start-of-term administration
*Respond to student and helpdesk queries with clear and helpful information
*Support timetabling activity, including collating information for new academic staff
*Update disability and inclusivity plan information and assist with wider programme projects
Programme Administrator - Key Skills:*Previous programme or student administration experience within higher education
*Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately
*Confidence working independently, prioritising workloads and using initiative
*Clear communication and organisation skills when supporting students and colleagues
