We’re working with a fast-growing AI technology business that is looking to appoint a Financial Accountant to join its expanding finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an audit-trained accountant looking to make the move from practice into industry, or for an experienced Financial Accountant looking to join a dynamic and growing technology environment.
The RoleReporting into the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial accounting function and ensuring the business maintains robust and accurate financial reporting.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Ownership of month-end and year-end close processes
*Preparation of management and financial reporting
*Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts
*Balance sheet reconciliations and financial control
*Supporting audit processes and liaising with external auditors
*Assisting with technical accounting matters
*Working across multiple entities and supporting group reporting
*Identifying opportunities to improve and automate finance processes
*Working closely with colleagues across the wider finance and commercial teams
About YouWe’re particularly keen to speak with candidates who have:
*ACA or CA qualification
*An audit background, ideally with a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy firm
*Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience
*Experience with month-end and statutory accounts
*Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
*A genuine interest in technology and working within a fast-paced, growing business
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the business
