Job Description:
Full job descriptionRobert Half is delighted to be partnering with a market-leading organisation to recruit a Management Accountant for its South Wales headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a successful business with ambitious growth plans and a strong market position.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of the monthly management accounts for a key business unit while partnering with operational stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insight and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Cash flow reporting and forecasting
*Maintaining financial ledgers and balance sheet reconciliations
*Statutory accounts preparation
*Producing KPI reporting and performance analysis
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
*Assisting with year-end and interim audits
*Identifying opportunities to improve financial controls, reporting and processes
*Providing cross-functional support across the wider finance team
About You
We’re looking for a proactive and commercially aware accountant who enjoys working in a growing business environment.
You will ideally have:
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or be newly qualified)
*Strong accounting experience
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
*Advanced Excel capabilities
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Experience of improving financial processes and reporting
