Signature Recruitment is seeking a P2P Lead for an immediate start within a well-established public organisation in London.
This is a six-month temporary role paying £21.39 per hour plus holiday pay. The position offers an informal hybrid working pattern, with Thursday and Friday office-based and Monday to Wednesday working from home. You are welcome to work from the office more often if preferred. Due to operational requirements, you will need to be available throughout the assignment with no pre-booked holiday.
You will join a busy Procure-to-Pay function and provide day-to-day support across finance operations. Alongside supervising a small team, you will work with data from multiple systems, oversee workflow queues and help resolve escalated queries. You will also support system testing and service improvements. This varied role offers hybrid flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative public sector environment.
P2P Lead - Key Responsibilities:*Lead a small team, holding 1:1s, supporting performance and managing escalations
*Monitor P2P support tickets and workflow queues, ensuring service levels and deadlines are met
*Analyse and report on finance and operational data from multiple systems using Excel
*Support requisitions, reconciliations, expenses and other transactional finance processes
*Complete User Acceptance Testing, record issues and provide clear feedback on system changes
*Maintain accurate financial records while identifying opportunities to improve processes and service delivery
P2P Lead - Key Skills:*Team leadership or supervisory experience, including 1:1s, performance support and escalations
*Strong Excel, numerical and data analysis skills with confidence producing accurate reports
*Experience of P2P, finance operations, Accounts Payable or similar transactional processes
*Confidence using ticketing or workflow systems, meeting SLAs and supporting system testing
