About the RoleResponsive Personnel are looking for a Kitchen Team Leader to join our clients busy kitchen team.
The successful candidate will help lead the kitchen team, ensure high standards of food quality and hygiene are maintained, and support the smooth running of day-to-day kitchen operations.
This is an ideal role for an experienced kitchen team member who is confident leading others and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities
*Lead and support the kitchen team during daily operations.
*Organise staff and allocate kitchen duties effectively.
*Ensure food is prepared, cooked and presented to the required standard.
*Follow recipes, portion controls and production requirements.
*Monitor food quality, freshness and presentation.
*Maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards.
*Ensure the kitchen is kept clean, organised and well maintained.
*Monitor stock levels and report shortages or wastage.
*Assist with ordering and stock rotation where required.
*Train, coach and support new and existing kitchen team members.
*Ensure all team members follow company procedures and food safety requirements.
*Help manage busy periods and ensure production targets are achieved.
*Communicate effectively with management and other departments.
*Deal with day-to-day kitchen issues and report any concerns to management.
*Lead by example and promote a positive, professional working environment.

About You
The ideal candidate will:
*Have previous experience working in a professional kitchen.
*Have experience supervising or leading a team.
*Have good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
*Be organised, reliable and able to work under pressure.
*Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
*Be confident making decisions and taking responsibility.
*Have a good eye for detail and high standards of food quality.
*Be willing to support the team and lead by example.
