Full job descriptionRG Consultancy are delighted to be working with an excellent, well-established business based in Lytham who are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team.
This Management Accountant role requires someone to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function across a diverse group of businesses. Reporting directly to the Group Director, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial information.
Duties include:
*Leading the month-end close process
*Preparing timely and accurate management accounts including detailed variance analysis and commentary
*Completing balance sheet reconciliations and escalating any concerns
*Maintain strong internal controls and a program of continuous process improvement
*Supporting with the annual business planning across the group
*Overseeing sales and purchase ledger
*Daily sales and bank reconciliations
*Be the key point of contact for external stakeholders
*Supporting year-end process and working closely with external auditors
This Management Accountant role is ideal for someone who is used to working across multiple entities and is comfortable with complete end-to-end accounts. There will be excellent scope to develop and would suit someone who is looking to move into a Financial Controller role in the next few years.
