Full job descriptionOutreach SEN Tutor - Southend -15 hours a week per student
Location: Southend on Sea - Essex
Position: Outreach Tutor (Special Educational Needs)
Contract Type: 15 hours per week per student.
Salary: £30/35 per hour
We are looking for dedicated and experienced SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one outreach tuition to children and young people in Southend-on-Sea.
This is an excellent opportunity for a tutor who is passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them build confidence, develop their skills and make positive progress.
We Are Looking For*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), qualified tutor or relevant teaching experience
*Experience working with children or young people with SEN
*Experience with challenging behaviour, SEMH, ASD, ADHD or other additional needs would be advantageous
*A patient, flexible and nurturing approach
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*The ability to work independently and provide engaging one-to-one tuition
*A current DBS or willingness to undergo the appropriate safeguarding checks
