Full job descriptionAgilis Search is exclusively supporting an established and fast-paced business is looking for a Management Accountant to join its growing team. Based in Colchester with excellent benefits and hybrid working.
This role would suit someone who is highly analytical, detail-focused and confident working to tight deadlines. You’ll need to enjoy working with data and spreadsheets, be comfortable following processes accurately, and have solid experience in balance sheet reconciliations.
Key responsibilities
*Bank, payroll and intercompany reconciliations
*Prepayments, accruals and manual journals
*Fixed asset register maintenance
*Balance sheet reconciliations and audit evidence
*Preparation of management accounts and commentary
*Group reporting and consolidation
*Meeting month-end deadlines
About you
*Minimum 2 years’ relevant accounting experience
*AAT Level 4, ACCA part-qualified or CIMA
*Strong Xero knowledge
*Excellent Excel skills, including complex formulas
*Understanding of intercompany and international transactions
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Excellent attention to detail
*Confident, positive and able to work independently
