Your new role
Our client, a well-established independent firm in West London, is seeking an Accounts & Tax Manager to join their close-knit team and play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses.
Key Responsibilities
*This is a hands-on position offering a mix of accounts production, personal tax compliance and advisory work, together with responsibility for managing and developing client relationships.Key responsibilities include:*Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients
*Reviewing year-end statutory accounts prepared by junior team members
*Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns for directors and sole traders
*Providing tax planning and advisory support to clients
*Managing day-to-day client relationships and acting as the main point of contact
*Supporting the Partners with business development opportunities
*Supervising, mentoring and developing junior members of staff
*Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines
What you’ll need to succeed
*ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience)
*Previous experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
*Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and personal tax
*Experience managing a client portfolio
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team
