We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and skilled Cook to join a growing company based in Wantage, Oxfordshire. This is a permanent position offering a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within a reputable company that employs between 40 and 60 staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals, ensuring a welcoming and well-maintained kitchen environment, and adhering to food safety standards. You will play a key role in supporting employee wellbeing through excellent catering services, contributing to a positive workplace atmosphere. The role requires flexibility, attentiveness, and a proactive approach to catering needs in a professional business setting.
*Proven experience in catering or food preparation is essential
*Ability to independently manage meal planning and preparation
*Cater to individual needs e.g. allergies.
*Accountable for COSHH, food safety, health and safety, legal regulations, environment policies and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills
*Strong communication skills and a professional approach
*A proactive attitude and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
*Experience in similar roles or environments is expected.
