Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician position in Guildford, Surrey, on behalf of a reputable franchised dealership specialising in prestige vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and experienced motor trade professionals to develop their careers within a well-established, staff-focused organisation that prioritises customer satisfaction.

Key benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
*Competitive salary between £45,000 and £50,000, depending on qualifications and experience, with some Master Technicians earning more
*Working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Duties for the successful Vehicle Technician:
*Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs within manufacturer standards and timescales
*Test, diagnose, and repair faults efficiently and accurately
*Advise customers and management on vehicle conditions, faults, and future servicing needs
*Identify potential cost savings for customers through preventative maintenance recommendations
*Maintain organisation and attention to detail throughout all tasks
*Ensure completion of work within allotted times and quality standards
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
*Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
*City & Guilds qualification or similar accreditation
*Minimum of 1 year’s experience in diagnosing, servicing, maintenance, and repair of motor vehicles
*Full UK Driving Licence
*Organised, methodical, and proactive approach to problem solving
*Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Good time management skills
