Full job descriptionOur client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Site Assistant to support the maintenance, safety and presentation of their busy educational site.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving general maintenance, grounds upkeep, site security and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the premises.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out basic maintenance and repair tasks.
*Maintain grounds and outdoor areas, including grass cutting, weeding and hedge trimming.
*Complete routine site, building and health & safety checks.
*Report maintenance issues and hazards.
*Assist with site security, opening and locking buildings where required.
*Support room setups, furniture moves and site events.
*Work alongside contractors and respond to maintenance requests.
*Help ensure the site remains safe, clean and well-maintained at all times.
About You
*Previous experience in maintenance, caretaking, facilities or grounds maintenance.
*Good practical DIY skills.
*Knowledge of health & safety practices.
*Able to work independently and as part of a team.
*Reliable, organised and flexible in your approach.
*Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
