Job Description:
Full job descriptionManage key UK grocery accounts for a private label food business based in Belgium. The role would manage 2 of the top 4, plus some smaller accounts. The role would suit someone with existing grocery experience, or someone looking to move to grocery from another FMCG channel i.e. exports/GTR/wholesale, discount etc.
Client Details
Our client are a private label food manufacturer based in Belgium. They have a large footprint in Europe, with plenty of room for growth in the UK. They have ambitious growth plans, and the successful candidate would be responsible for driving growth across UK grocery.
Description
*Manage and grow relationships with key grocery accounts.
*Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets.
*Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the FMCG sector.
*Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales planning.
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
*Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and forecasts.
*Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.
*Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
Profile
A successful Sales Manager should have:
*A strong background in sales within FMCG.
*Experience in grocery, discount, export or similar channel.
*Must be able to spend c.50% of time in Belgium.
*Private label experience preferred but not essential.
*Entrepreneurial mindset essential. Someone that can manage multiple things at once.
*Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships effectively.
*Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
*Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and sales reports.
*The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
*A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and objectives.
Job Offer
*Salary ranging from £65,000 to £90,000 dependent on the level of experience.
*Additional 10% car allowance.
*Performance-based bonus.
*Remote role in the UK. Regular travel (50% of time) to Belgium
