We are seeking a proactive and skilled Account Handler to join an established team in Grays. Managing full lifecycle client accounts across a broad range of commercial risks, this role offers excellent exposure, strong professional support, and a competitive flex-benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
*Full Lifecycle Account Management: Manage cross-class commercial client accounts from onboarding to renewal.
*Broking & Renewals: Prepare comprehensive renewal documentation, market risks to insurers, negotiate favorable terms, and handle mid-term adjustments (MTAs).
*New Business & Retention: Assist with new business quotes, client presentations, and proactive cross-selling to ensure high client retention rates.
*Diverse Product Lines: Handle complex commercial policies including Commercial Combined, Public/Employers’ Liability, Motor Fleet, and Financial Lines (D&O, PI).
Candidate Requirements
*Experience: Proven track record in a Commercial Insurance Account Handling role within a broker setting is essential.
*Product Knowledge: Strong familiarity with cross-class commercial insurance (Combined, Liability, Fleet, and Financial Lines).
*Communication: Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
*Qualifications: Cert CII or working toward insurance qualifications (highly desirable).
