Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience
Are you looking to develop your career within tax and join a successful, supportive accountancy practice?
You will be joining an established tax team, supporting a varied portfolio of clients and gaining hands-on experience across a broad range of tax compliance work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of UK accountancy practice experience who is keen to build their technical knowledge and progress within tax.
You will be:
*Preparing self-assessment and corporation tax returns
*Assisting with the preparation and submission of tax returns
*Liaising with clients and HMRC to obtain information and resolve queries
*Supporting the management of a portfolio of clients
*Reviewing and processing client information
*Preparing client and HMRC correspondence
*Assisting with client registrations and general tax administration
*Ensuring statutory deadlines are met
*Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation
You will have:
*At least 1 year of experience within a UK accountancy practice
*Some previous exposure to tax work
*A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in tax
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*The ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workload
*A proactive, professional and team-focused approach
*Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
