Our client is searching for a committed Production Technician working on Nights to carry out manufacturing and assembly operations in the production of high-reliability printed circuit boards (PCBs), to the quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
Production Technician Key Responsibilities:
*Carry out manufacturing and assembly operations in the production of PCBs in accordance with documented work instructions, process specifications, and quality standards
*Operate production machinery and equipment safely, competently, and in accordance with all relevant operating procedures and training received
*Perform visual and dimensional inspection of in-process and finished product, identifying and escalating non-conformances in accordance with the Company’s quality management procedures
*Maintain accurate production records, batch records, and traceability documentation as required by quality management systems (including IPC standards, ISO 9001, and AS9100 where applicable)
*Meet productivity targets and output standards as communicated by the Production Supervisor, reporting any factors that may affect delivery schedules
*Set up, operate, and carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of production equipment and tooling in accordance with scheduled maintenance plans
Production Technician Core Requirements:
*Previous manufacturing experience
*Able to read and working from work instructions and drawings
*Assembly experience
*Used hand tools previously
Senior Quality Engineer Desirable Skills & Experience:
*Electronics assembly or related high-precision assembly / manufacturing
*PCB manufacturing and soldering skills, SMT, through-hole, wave soldering, or other relevant fabrication processes
*IPC standards (e.g. IPC-A-610, IPC-7711) and quality inspection techniques
*ISO 9001 / AS9001 awareness
