IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Freelance Setting Out Engineer to join a busy commercial construction project in Exeter.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a live site with a well-established contractor and a strong pipeline of ongoing projects. The role is expected to run for a minimum of three months, with potential for extension.
What We Offer*£40-£42 per hour (CIS).
*Full-time temporary contract.
*Minimum three-month contract.
*Potential for extension.
*Opportunity to work on a high-profile commercial construction project.
*Work with a well-established contractor.
Key Duties*Carry out setting out for groundworks, foundations and structural elements.
*Interpret drawings and site plans accurately.
*Conduct surveys and checks to ensure works are delivered to specification.
*Provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors.
*Maintain QA records and as-built information.
Requirements*Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on commercial construction projects.
*Strong knowledge of site surveying and construction methods.
*Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
*Valid CSCS card.
*Own setting out kit/equipment, including total station, GPS, etc.
*Immediate availability preferred.
