Description
*Manage the preparation of financial reports and budgets to support business objectives.
*Oversee and ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with relevant regulations.
*Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
*Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
*Coordinate and manage the annual audit process with external auditors.
*Monitor cash flow and manage the company’s financial planning processes.
*Lead and develop the Accounting & Finance team to achieve department goals.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with business strategies.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
*Professional qualifications in accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
*Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
*Experience in overseeing financial operations within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
*Proficiency in financial analysis and the ability to provide actionable insights.
*Leadership skills to guide and motivate a finance team effectively.
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
*The ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £75,000, dependent on the level of experience.
*Permanent position based in the outskirts of Edinburgh.
