Location: Grays / West Thurrock
Salary: £37,500 to £41,000 per annum
Shift: Days
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join a well-established Freight, Air & Sea Logistics company on a permanent basis.
The Role:*Driving a Class 1 (Category C) vehicle delivering and collecting freight
*Completing air and sea freight deliveries and collections
*Transporting goods safely and securely between customers, depots, and freight locations
*Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in line with company procedures
*Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining customer signatures
*Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
*Loading and unloading freight when required
*Working closely with the transport team to ensure efficient daily operations
*Providing excellent customer service at all delivery locations
Requirements:*Valid Class 1 (Category C) HGV Licence
*Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
*Previous Class 2 driving experience required
*Experience within freight, logistics, air or sea cargo would be advantageous
*Good understanding of driver regulations and compliance
*Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
