We’re currently recruiting for a Learning Mentor to join a welcoming and supportive educational setting in Leicester, with an immediate start available.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can build positive relationships with students, provide encouragement and guidance, and help young people overcome barriers to learning.
? The RoleAs a Learning Mentor, you will:
*Support students with their learning, confidence and personal development
*Build strong, positive relationships with young people
*Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required
*Help students overcome barriers to engagement and education
*Work closely with teaching staff and the wider support team
*Encourage positive behaviour, independence and resilience
*Create a safe, supportive and motivating environment
We’re Looking ForWe’d love to hear from candidates who:
*Have experience working with children or young people
*Are passionate about education and supporting student development
*Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Are patient, approachable and encouraging
*Can confidently manage challenging situations
*Are reliable, proactive and committed to making a difference
*Have a genuine desire to help young people reach their potential
Education, youth work, mentoring or support experience is highly desirable.
