Hours: Onsite – 37.5 hours per week
Salary:£35,000 -£40,000 per annum + Benefits
Location: Leicester
Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturing company, and we are looking for aManufacturing Engineer / Machine Shop to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.
Manufacturing Engineer / Machine Shop – Key responsibilities:
*Work closely with machine shop teams, applying strong knowledge of CNC, manual machining, grinding and other manufacturing processes.
*Collaborate with design engineers to develop new products and prototypes using Design for Manufacture principles.
*Use SolidWorks CAD/CAM to design tooling and fixtures while providing technical support to production teams.
*Identify and implement new machinery, equipment and processes.
*Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects to improve quality, efficiency and processes while reducing costs.
Manufacturing Engineer / Machine Shop - Essential Skills & Experience:
*Possesses a high standard of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
*Ability to manage workload effectively to changing situations under pressure.
*Excellent communications skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
*Takes pride in delivering high-quality work, meeting commitments and contributing positively as part of a team.
*Ability to implement efficient manufacturing processes that drive continuous improvement while minimising material waste.
