Are you an experienced Finance Assistant looking for an opportunity to join a growing and dynamic business?
We’re recruiting for a Finance & Accounts Assistant to join an established business within the entertainment sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a friendly and sociable team with a positive working culture, whilst supporting a busy finance function in a growing organisation.
Working within a modern finance environment, you’ll gain exposure to a broad range of responsibilities, using Xero and supporting key financial processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing daily banking transactions and bank reconciliations
*Raising sales invoices and maintaining accurate records
*Processing purchase invoices
*Assisting with internal budget tracking and reporting
*Supporting the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
*Assisting with month-end finance processes
*Maintaining accurate financial records and resolving finance queries
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have experience in:
*Finance Assistant
*Accounts Assistant
*Bookkeeping
*Sales Ledger
*Purchase Ledger
You will ideally have:
*Previous experience within a finance or accounts-based role
*Experience using Xero or a similar accounting system
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Good Excel and general IT skills
*The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*Excellent communication skills
*A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
*A genuine interest in the entertainment, media or creative sectors would be advantageous
