A specialist secondary school in Reading is seeking a caring and enthusiastic ASD Assistant. This role is ideal for aspiring Psychologists, Therapists, or Teachers looking to develop valuable experience in SEN.
The Role as an ASD Assistant
*Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with ASD.
*Support communication, emotional regulation, confidence, and independence.
*Build positive relationships and encourage engagement in learning.
*Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to create a supportive environment.
*Monitor students’ wellbeing, behaviour, and progress.
We’re Looking For an ASD Assistant who
*Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic individuals.
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
*A genuine interest in ASD, SEN, psychology, or education.
*A calm, positive, and adaptable approach.
Job Details
*Location: Reading
*Setting: Secondary SEN School
*Start: ASAP
*Pay: £93-£110 per day
*Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
*Contract: Full-time
