A welcoming and inclusive specialist school in Wokingham is seeking a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology graduate to gain hands-on experience within an education setting while developing skills relevant to future careers in educational psychology, clinical psychology, counselling, or SEN support.
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop their confidence.
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
*Support children with ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, and SEMH needs
*Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
*Support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally
*Assist teachers with personalised learning and intervention strategies
*Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
