StormX Recruitment are working with a well established organisation who are looking to recruit a Finance Operations Trainee. You’ll need to work in the London office at least 3 days a week.
This will be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in finance and accounting while gaining hands-on experience and working towards a recognised qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
No extensive experience is required — just a strong academic background, you’ll potentially be a graduate, be able to display a genuine interest in finance, and a willingness to learn.
The Role
You’ll gain exposure across key areas of finance operations, including:
*Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
*Month-end processes and reconciliations
*Financial controls and reporting support
*Invoice processing and payment runs
*Query resolution and mailbox management
*Credit control support during busy periods
You’ll also receive structured training, mentoring, and exposure to senior finance professionals, with increasing responsibility as you develop.
We’re looking for someone who is:
*Numerate, analytical and detail-focused
*Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office
*Organised with strong time management skills
*A strong communicator and team player
*Eager to learn and develop in finance
Previous finance experience is helpful but not essential.
