Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs?
We are looking for caring, patient and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs. These roles are ideal for experienced SEN professionals, recent graduates or individuals looking to begin a rewarding career in SEND.
The Role
You will provide personalised 1:1 support to an individual pupil, helping them access learning, develop independence, build confidence and reach their full potential.
You may support pupils with:
*Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
*Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
*ADHD
*Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
*Physical or complex needs
*EHCPs
Key Responsibilities
*Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day.
*Helping pupils access learning and activities.
*Supporting communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
*Encouraging independence, confidence and social development.
*Supporting transitions and changes in routine.
*Adapting activities to meet individual needs.
*Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and families.
*Providing personal care support where required.
The Ideal Candidate
*You will be patient, caring, reliable and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.
*Previous experience in SEND, education, care, youth work, psychology or similar environments is desirable but not essential for every role.
