We’re working with a well-established, growing independent accountancy practice in Leeds. Not PE-driven. Not obsessed with chargeable hours for the sake of it. Just a commercially sharp, people-first firm with a strong client base across Yorkshire.

As an Accounts Assistant manager you’ll manage your own portfolio while supporting junior staff and reporting into an approachable Partner team.

Responsibilities include:
*Managing a varied portfolio of SME clients
*Reviewing statutory accounts (FRS 102 / 102 1A)
*Corporation tax compliance
*Supervising and mentoring trainees and Seniors
*Acting as the main point of contact for clients
*Supporting Managers and Partners on advisory projects

What They’re Looking For*ACA / ACCA qualified (or very close to qualifying)
*Solid background in UK accountancy practice
*Experience reviewing work and managing client relationships
*Confident communicator who enjoys developing others
