Role OverviewAs a Support Worker (HCA / Support Staff), you will join our team to provide compassionate, person-centred support across two nursing homes in Dursley (GL11). You will support residents with daily living needs, promote dignity and independence, and work as part of a caring rota system covering days and nights.
Key Responsibilities*Provide personal care and support with daily living activities
*Support residents with mobility, meals, and hydration
*Maintain comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times
*Support care plans as directed by clinical staff
*Assist with routine checks and report concerns promptly
*Work effectively as part of the wider care team on shift
*Follow all policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements
*Contribute to a positive, respectful and supportive environment
Shift Pattern*Opportunities across rotas for both nursing homes
*6-hour and 12-hour shifts
*Days & nights
*Flexible scheduling (subject to rota requirements)
Requirements*Experience as a Support Worker / HCA / Support Staff (desirable)
*Compassionate approach and strong understanding of person-centred care
*Ability to work reliably across rotas, including nights where required
*Commitment to confidentiality and safe working practices
*Right to work in the UK (note: no sponsorship available)
