Robert Half has partnered with a leading business in Peterborough to recruit for a Management Accountant on a 10-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a fast-paced organisation, providing financial insight and partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
*Prepare weekly and monthly management reporting
*Support the month-end process, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
*Provide variance analysis and clear financial commentary
*Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
*Provide financial analysis to support business decisions
*Work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders
*Present financial information and highlight key trends, risks and opportunities
About you
*Experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role
*Strong management reporting and analytical skills
*Good understanding of month-end accounting
*Confident communicating with non-finance stakeholders
*Strong Excel skills and experience using financial systems
*Commercially aware, organised and able to work to tight deadlines
