This role is within the retail industry and is based in Edinburgh
Description
*Proactive credit control of overdue accounts, candidates must have excellent telephone manner.
*Ensure all customers are trading to terms and within the limits of Dole credit insurance.
*Raising Credit Notes.
*Manage accounts on ’stop’.
*Responding to inbound customer queries by phone and email.
*Post daily Cash receipts.
*Setting up new accounts.
*Taking Card payments on site.
*Manage daily cash receipts/petty cash - cash handling.
*Liaise with HO Credit Control Dept for National Accounts
*Assist in production of weekly & monthly sales ledger reports for key customers.


Profile
A successful Finance Administrator should have:
*Experience in an administrative or financial role, ideally within the retail industry.
*Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
*A basic understanding of financial processes and terminology.
Job Offer
Days - negotiable (Mon-Fri), min 4 days.
Hours - 30 hours per week, negotiable, between 8am and 5pm


Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
You must have a sound knowledge of credit control with at least 2 years’ experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
