We are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist manufacturing business for a Production Operative – Blended Fuels to join their production team.
The business operates within the specialist fuels market, producing highly bespoke and technical fuel products for customers across the Oil & Gas, Automotive, Aerospace and Motorsport industries.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient production, blending and movement of fuel products across the site.
The RoleWorking as part of the production team, you will help deliver the daily blending plan while ensuring all operations are carried out safely, accurately and in line with company procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Carrying out tanker receipt and despatch operations
*Supporting fuel blending and product movement
*Carrying out decanting operations
*Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the site
*Handling waste fuel and supporting stock rotation
*Using and looking after production equipment
*Following written work instructions and production procedures
*Monitoring production activities and reporting any issues
*Supporting the team with identifying ways to improve efficiency
*Responding to operational and production issues
*Using computerised stock and supply chain systems
*Supporting emergency response procedures when required
*Assisting with other production activities as needed
About YouWe are looking for someone who is reliable, practical and keen to develop a career within a specialist production environment.
You will ideally have:
*Experience within a production, manufacturing, warehouse or industrial environment
*Good literacy and numeracy skills
*The ability to follow written instructions accurately
*A practical approach to working with machinery and equipment
*The ability to work effectively as part of a team
*A positive attitude towards problem solving
*The ability to work under pressure
*Good attention to detail
*A strong commitment to health, safety and following procedures
*The physical ability to work within a hands-on production environment and on a shift pattern
Previous experience within fuel blending, chemicals, manufacturing or a COMAH-regulated environment would be advantageous, but is not essential if you have the right attitude and practical aptitude.
