Working hours: Monday–Thursday 7:00am–3:45pm, Friday 7:00am–12:00pm
38 hours per week

TIG Welder
Job Description
*Carry out manual and orbital TIG welding of tube assemblies, brackets and components.
*Work from engineering drawings, data cards, process specifications and standard work instructions.
*Set up, operate, maintain and programme TIG and orbital welding equipment.
*Inspect finished components using equipment including shadowgraphs, borescopes, verniers and micrometres.
*Ensure all work meets the required quality and aerospace manufacturing standards.
TIG Welder
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
*Previous experience working as a TIG Welder, ideally within an aerospace or regulated precision manufacturing environment.
*Confident reading and working from engineering drawings.
*Experience welding a variety of materials, including stainless steel, titanium, aluminium and/or Inconel.
*Experience using inspection and measurement equipment.
