Full job descriptionJob SummaryWe are looking for a caring, reliable and compassionate Support Worker to provide person-centred support to individuals at Arundel House.
Key Responsibilities*Provide high-quality person-centred care and support.
*Assist individuals with personal care and daily living activities.
*Support individuals with medication as required and in line with training.
*Encourage independence and promote choice and dignity.
*Support individuals with community activities and appointments.
*Monitor and report changes in individuals’ health and wellbeing.
*Maintain accurate and confidential care records.
*Follow individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
*Work effectively with colleagues and other professionals.
Essential Requirements*Previous experience in a care or support worker role is desirable.
*Good communication and interpersonal skills.
*Compassionate and respectful approach to care.
*Ability to work as part of a team.
*Willingness to complete mandatory training.
*Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care.
