Job Description:
Full job descriptionReed Accountancy are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established company within the construction sector for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their small and friendly office on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a varied position that requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will provide essential support across both administration and finance functions, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy and diverse role.
Key Responsibilities:
*Maintain subcontractor records and assist with subcontractor onboarding.
*Manage credit control activities, including chasing outstanding payments and maintaining debtor records.
*Post customer receipts and ensure accurate allocation of payments.
*Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments.
*Respond to finance-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
*Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required.
Skills & Experience Required:
*Previous experience within a finance and administration role.
*AAT qualification (or studying towards AAT) is essential.
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
*Experience using Sage 50 and knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) would be beneficial.
*Ability to learn new systems quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
*Excellent communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
