Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a new client, a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Okehampton, looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join its friendly and collaborative team. With a varied client portfolio and an excellent reputation in the local market, this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious practice accountant looking to take the next step in their career.
As an Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
- Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
- Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments
- Building positive relationships with clients and responding to day-to-day queries
- Working closely with senior members of the team to deliver a consistently high standard of client service
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential due to the technical nature of the role.
