Location: Bristol
Salary: £30-36,000
A leading, award-winning planning and design practice is looking to appoint a Town Planning Consultant to join its growing team in Bristol. The practice works across a broad range of sectors and scales, helping to deliver new communities, regenerate towns and cities, and support the infrastructure needed for sustainable economic growth and climate resilience.
Responsibilities*Deliver planning projects across varied sectors.
*Prepare planning applications and strategies.
*Undertake policy research and site appraisals.
*Support planning committees, appeals and hearings.
*Manage projects, programmes and budgets.
*Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
*Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
*Provide clear planning advice and reports.
*Support bids, tenders and business development.
Requirements*Relevant planning degree and postgraduate qualification.
*Sufficient UK planning experience.
*Working towards or holding MRTPI.
*Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
*Excellent communication and presentation skills.
*Interest in placemaking and sustainable development.
*Experience in multidisciplinary teams.
*Strong organisation and project management skills.
*Collaborative and proactive approach.
