The OpportunityWe are working with a specialist and well-established law firm looking to appoint an experienced Family Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a family lawyer with at least 2 years’ experience who is confident managing their own caseload and wants to work within a supportive environment with genuine opportunities for progression and business development.
The RoleYou will handle a varied caseload covering both private and publicly funded family work, including:
*Private children matters.
*Domestic abuse cases, including Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders.
*Divorce and financial remedy proceedings.
*Cohabitation and disputes between unmarried couples.
*General family and childcare matters.
*Legal aid work and privately funded cases.
The successful candidate will be expected to manage matters with a good level of autonomy while working collaboratively with the wider team.
About YouWe are looking for someone who:
*Has a minimum of 2 years’ relevant family law experience.
*Has experience handling their own caseload.
*Understands the requirements of legal aid work.
*Is confident dealing with clients and complex family matters.
*Can work independently while contributing to a supportive team.
*Is commercially aware and comfortable working towards billing targets.
*Is keen to develop their own network and generate private client work.
*Is willing to work towards relevant panel accreditation where required.
