Full job descriptionI’m currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller for a successful Swansea-based business. The business has grown significantly over recent years and has customers across the UK and international markets.
Due to a period of transition within the finance team, they are looking for an experienced finance professional to provide interim support and ensure a smooth handover until their new permanent hire is fully embedded.
The Opportunity
*Interim Financial Controller
*3 days per week
*Start ideally in the final week of August to support the September month-end
*The assignment is expected to run until mid-November
*Based on-site in Swansea (can flex to a few days hybrid when settled in)

Key Responsibilities
*Lead and support month-end close activities
*Review and oversee AP payment runs
*Maintain day-to-day financial controls and reporting processes
*Ensure continuity and stability within the finance function during the transition period
*Work closely with the existing finance team and support handover activities

Ideal Background
*Previous Financial Controller
*Strong month-end and financial reporting expertise
*Able to quickly understand processes and add value from day one
