Rate: £700 per day Umbrella
IR35: Inside
Location: Hybrid - 60% office attendance (Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham)
Clearance: BPSS - must be eligible for SC
The Role
A major Central Government programme is seeking experienced Java Developers to join a digital delivery team.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, developing and supporting large-scale digital services using modern cloud and event-driven technologies.
Experience & Requirements*Strong commercial experience developing applications using Java.
*Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
*Proven experience working with AWS cloud services.
*Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
*Strong experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
*Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary software development teams.
*Ability to develop robust, scalable and maintainable solutions in complex environments.
*Government or large-scale digital service experience is desirable.
