Michael Page Finance is partnering with a well-established international manufacturing business to recruit a Management Accountant for its Leeds operation.
Description
*Support month-end and year-end close, including accruals and reconciliations.
*Analyse financial performance against budget and identify trends and variances.
*Provide recommendations to improve financial and operational performance.
*Support budgeting, forecasting and wider financial planning activities.
*Review financial data and investigate fluctuations or anomalies.
*Process and review supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and appropriate approvals.
*Reconcile supplier statements and support accounts payable activities.
*Produce regular financial and management reports.
*Gather and present financial information, analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.


Profile
*Previous experience in a Management Accounting role within manufacturing.
*Strong understanding of financial and management accounting.
*Experience producing management information and analysing performance.
*Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
*The ability to analyse data and communicate financial insight clearly.
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*A proactive approach with the confidence to identify issues and recommend improvements.
*A relevant finance/accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
