We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for a dynamic role split between sites in Bury St Edmunds and Eye. This hands-on position involves overseeing pick/pack operations and operating Counterbalance FLT. The role includes leadership responsibilities at an unofficial supervisor level, with a long-term opportunity to transition to being based full-time in Eye over the next 2 years. An immediate start is available.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Oversee and manage pick/pack operations across two sites.
*Operate Counterbalance FLT as part of daily warehouse activities.
*Lead and support a busy team, ensuring efficient operations.
*Coordinate between the two sites, with fuel costs covered.
*Prepare for a full transition to the Eye site, planning and adjusting operations accordingly.
*Maintain safety and operational standards at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience with Counterbalance FLT, with a valid licence.
*Proven knowledge of warehouse operations.
*Demonstrated ability to lead and support a team.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Confidence in handling multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
