Full job descriptionAn excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent travel agency in Essex. My client is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant with previous travel sales experience.
This role will ideally suit someone with a proven Travel Agency background, excellent customer service and a passion for travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Working in a branch, with a small team of travel consultants
*Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries
*Selling luxury, tailormade, cruise, ski and beach holidays
*Offering your customer a choice of tour operator, to sell the right holiday for their needs
*Selling additional products and services, such as car hire and travel insurance.
*Greeting customers face to face and also over the phone
*Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*A minimum of 1 years relevant experience in a travel agency environment
*Passionate about travel and customer service
*Enthusiastic, creative and with a positive attitude
PACKAGE:
*A competitive basic salary + commission
*5 days on a rota between Monday - Saturday; 9am - 5:30pm (3 Saturdays per month with 1 full weekend off)
*Closed Sunday’s and Bank Holidays
*Full time or Part time (Days Negotiable)
