Full job descriptionMy prestigious financial service client is seeking an experienced C# / .NET Developer to design, develop and support high-performance applications across Risk Management and/or Securities Lending platforms. You will work closely with quants, risk managers, business analysts and product owners to deliver scalable solutions in a regulated financial-services environment.
What you’ll do:
*Design, develop, and maintain C# / .NET applications supporting Risk or Securities Lending platforms
*Design and integrate RESTful APIs
*Build scalable, testable and maintainable solutions
*Support risk, exposure, limits and reporting workflows
*Work with large data sets and high-throughput systems
*Participate in technical design, code reviews and production support
*Collaborate with Risk, Front Office, Operations and Compliance teams
What you’ll bring:
*Strong C# and modern .NET experience
*Excellent OOP and software-design skills
*Experience with REST APIs, JSON and SQL databases
*Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
*Hands on with messaging technologies (e.g. Kafka)
*Experience in front to back trading or financing systems
*Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies
*Exposure to risk and regulatory methodologies such as: RWA (Risk Weighted Assets); CCAR or Basel III / Basel IV frameworks are highly beneficial
