Job Description:
Full job descriptionExperienced airfreight export professional needed for this small Ashford based Freight Forwarder, small friendly, well established Company.
Duties for the Export Clerk
*Dealing with all aspects of air exports
*Dealing with general and DG shipments (prepared to do a DG Course/refresher)
*Quotes
*Customs
*Liaising with customers, airlines and transport suppliers
*Also handling small parcels and working with the courier division
*Varied busy position with good future prospects
Skills and Experience Required for the Senior Export Clerk
*Experience of airfreight exports is essential
*Dangerous Good experience preferred (training or refresher provided)
*Customs experience
*Quotes experience
*Good customer service skills
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Employment Terms
*£35-38k (DOE & Neg) plus overtime OR option to bank additional holiday
*Mon-Friday 9-5.30
*Office Based 5 days a week
*20 days hols plus BH
*Opportunity to earn overtime or bank additional holiday
