The role
This General role is to lead from the front, to ensure the continual growth of the company’s targets across the full portfolio of services whilst growing the existing revenue streams.
This senior role will support, manage and develop the existing commercial activity.The role requires a networker who creates and builds profitable customer relationships through effective senior client interaction.On the cutting edge of innovation, this role demands exceptional drive and tenacity, a forward-thinking attitude, and continual striving for excellence.
*Managing the budget and allocating resources effectively.
*Collaborating with other department leaders to achieve company goals.
*Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
*Managing the P&L always looking to manage costs whilst looking for revenue opportunities
*Managing a business with a wide range of services including storage, warehousing, groupage and associated services
The applicant
You must have proven large business unit management experience within a logistics business.
Applicants currently working in a similar senior professional General or Regional General Manager role with a provable track record of success are invited to apply if they have:

*Experience of a quick and dynamic warehouse and transport operation.
*Experience working for one of the 3PL / freight / fulfilment / transport / logistics providers
