Hours: 32+ hours per week
Working Pattern: Across 5 days
Are you an experienced SEMH/SEND Lecturer, specialist teacher or alternative provision professional?
We are recruiting for a part-time temporary SEMH Lecturer working with small groups of learners with primary SEMH needs, often alongside autism, ADHD and other neurodiverse needs.
The Role*Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
*Deliver English, Maths, tutorials and personal/social/study skills.
*Support learners with SEMH and barriers to learning.
*Build positive relationships with challenging or disengaged learners.
*Promote positive behaviour, attendance and engagement.
*Monitor and assess learner progress.
*Support EHCP targets and progression planning.
*Work closely with LSAs, pastoral teams and external professionals.
About You*Essential: Full Level 5 teaching qualification - PGCE, Cert Ed or DET.
*Significant experience working with SEMH/SEND learners.
*Experience managing challenging or disengaged behaviour.
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
*Experience delivering English and Maths.
*Understanding of EHCPs and multi-agency working.
*A resilient, patient and adaptable approach.
