Full job descriptionPayroll Clerk
Bury
£30,000 - £35,000
Bureau payroll experience? This could be the move you’ve been waiting for.
If you’re used to juggling multiple payrolls, different clients, tight deadlines and absolutely zero room for error, you’ll know exactly what good payroll looks like.
Now imagine doing that in a role where your workload is manageable, your development actually matters and the benefits go well beyond the usual holiday and pension package.
My client is hiring a Payroll Clerk; bureau background will be a huge advantage, as you’ll already be comfortable working across different payroll requirements, resolving queries and making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
Up-to-date payroll experience is absolutely essential. This isn’t a role for someone who used to run payroll a few years ago and is looking to get back into it - you need to be current, confident and know exactly what you’re doing.
You’ll manage a portfolio of clients, making sure payrolls are processed accurately and on time, dealing with queries, resolving issues and keeping everything moving when deadlines are tight.
One of the strongest benefits packages I’ve seen, which includes:
*8% employer pension contribution
*4 x salary death-in-service cover
*Income protection scheme
*Private medical insurance and other salary-sacrifice benefits
*Electric car scheme & extra holiday options
*Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental pay
