Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Wellingborough? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is passionate about helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils engage with their learning and reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis.
*Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning.
*Providing additional support to pupils who may have SEN or additional learning needs.
*Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
*Supporting pupils with their confidence, engagement and independence.
*Encouraging positive behaviour and following school behaviour policies.
*Building strong and positive relationships with pupils.
*Working collaboratively with teachers and other members of staff.
*Supporting pupils both academically and pastorally where required.
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is:
*Passionate about supporting children and young people.
*Patient, caring and approachable.
*Confident working with pupils with a range of abilities and needs.
*A strong communicator and team player.
*Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic.
*Able to build positive relationships with pupils.
*Previous experience working in a school or with children is desirable, but not essential.
